Backlit Clouds

My goodness! It's been months since I've posted a look. I don't know, I just haven't been super interested in doing a lot of makeup stuff lately. It's still fun, but I think that it's waning as a passion of mine. That being said, the love will never go away, and I'm sure that it will flare up very often, and when my hobbies flare up, they are all consuming. So, I have a look here for you... And it doesn't look super interesting in pictures, but it is one of my favorite everyday eye looks of all time, so here it is!

Wee! My face again! I still can't get the photo's to work for my face as far as proportions
go, and yes, I am wearing my bathrobe. Stylin'!

I really hope that you could tell what a gorgeous look this is from the pictures. It's really subtle, because none of the colors are very dark or very light. It reminds me of backlit clouds, because most of the look is a medium taupe color, but then right in the middle of the eye is a warmer, light sandy gold with a lot of shimmer.  It has a wee bit of a smokey, sultry element to it, but it's light, so it's perfect for day. I love it so much, and it's one of the few looks that I always go back to. I also always change up the liner; it isn't always all black everywhere.

I missed you guys! I hope that you missed me too. I hope to post more look posts, because I know that's what you guys love best, but I do love doing reviews too. Hopefully I'll just do more looks overall. I just started school again, though, so it'll be a little hard to find the time... But I'll see what I can do.  Junior year! Woot!

Wet 'n Wild Comfort Zone

Comfort Zone, outdoor, sunny.  The bottom right color is actually a lot like MAC Club, you can see better in the top picture that it has some teal flash to it.  The green color is more green than this picture shows too.

This palette was about $5.00.  Most of the colors are very pigmented, the least so being the top left color and the color two down from it.  Don't necessarily use the palette as the engraved words say, because it doesn't turn out very well.

 A wearable smokey eye:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
NYX Chocolate Eyeshadow in the crease
Lower Left eyeshadow along the lashline blended up
Left eyelid and crease color mixed on the upper lid
Right browbone color in the inner crease
Left browbone color in the inner corner
Urban Decay Stray Dog eyeliner on the lower lashline with the right definer color on top
Urban Decay Zero eyeliner on the waterline and upper lashline
CoverGirl Lashblast Mascara

Daytime look:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Right crease color in the crease
Left crease color on the lid
Left browbone color on the inner corner and inner crease
CoverGirl Lashblast Mascara

Left, MAC Club. Right, Wet 'n Wild lower right color. Club is a little darker and the Wet 'n Wild one has more duochrome to it.
