Backlit Clouds

My goodness! It's been months since I've posted a look. I don't know, I just haven't been super interested in doing a lot of makeup stuff lately. It's still fun, but I think that it's waning as a passion of mine. That being said, the love will never go away, and I'm sure that it will flare up very often, and when my hobbies flare up, they are all consuming. So, I have a look here for you... And it doesn't look super interesting in pictures, but it is one of my favorite everyday eye looks of all time, so here it is!

Wee! My face again! I still can't get the photo's to work for my face as far as proportions
go, and yes, I am wearing my bathrobe. Stylin'!

I really hope that you could tell what a gorgeous look this is from the pictures. It's really subtle, because none of the colors are very dark or very light. It reminds me of backlit clouds, because most of the look is a medium taupe color, but then right in the middle of the eye is a warmer, light sandy gold with a lot of shimmer.  It has a wee bit of a smokey, sultry element to it, but it's light, so it's perfect for day. I love it so much, and it's one of the few looks that I always go back to. I also always change up the liner; it isn't always all black everywhere.

I missed you guys! I hope that you missed me too. I hope to post more look posts, because I know that's what you guys love best, but I do love doing reviews too. Hopefully I'll just do more looks overall. I just started school again, though, so it'll be a little hard to find the time... But I'll see what I can do.  Junior year! Woot!
